What we know about the NBA Schedule for the upcoming 2019-2020 season

With the upcoming NBA season just over two months away, little pieces of the NBA schedule is starting to be released. So lets catch you up on what is being reported.

Christmas Day

The NBA’s marquee day of the year has always been the games played on December 25th. Based on reports this year’s games are going to be spectacular.

A few minutes after this tweet from Woj, the remaining two games were announced.

For those keeping track at home.

  • The defending champs will finally their first Christmas Day game since 2001 as they take on the new-look Boston Celtics. All-Star point guards Kemba Walker and Kyle Lowry will be on display on national television.
  • The reigning MVP will attempt to be the Grinch on Christmas as his Milwaukee Bucks travel to Philadelphia to take on Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and the 76ers. Can we get those brand new Sixers jerseys??
  • Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans make their way on the schedule as they take on the Denver Nuggets and their dynamic duo of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.
  • We get a playoff rematch as the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets will matchup once again. Golden State has knocked Houston out of the playoffs in 4 of the last 5 years.
  • Then we get the two teams from Los Angeles playing one another… should we say more?
