What Did You Miss Around The Association- February 28th, 2019

Thursday night only had 6 games, but each of them provided a lot of fireworks and entertainment.

Harden Finds His Shot 

James Harden scored 58 points as he lead the Houston Rockets to a 121-118 victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday night. Harden scored 17 of the points in the final quarter as the team capped off coming back from being down as many as 21 points in the game.

Harden who had missed 30 of his last 33 attempts from downtown, hit 8 of them in the victory. He also added 10 assists and 7 rebounds as well. Miami’s Goran Dragic had 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in 24 minutes off the bench as he still is on a minute restriction.

Orlando’s Defense Helps Top The Warriors 

The Orlando Magic used defense in the game’s final quarter to defeat the Golden State Warriors by the score of 103-96.

The Magic held the Warriors to 7 for 23 shooting in the final quarter. Terrance Ross scored 11 of his 16 points in the 4th quarter. Aaron Gordon had 22 points and 14 rebounds. Golden State played without Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodala.

Philadelphia Finally Defeats Oklahoma City 

Tobias Harris scored 32 points to lead the 76ers to a victory over the Thunder by the score of 108-104. The victory was the 1st one by the 76ers over the Thunder since 2008. That season was the first one in Oklahoma City.

Philadelphia dominated the game as they lead throughout most of the game. Both teams were missing All-Star starters as both Joel Embiid and Paul George missed the game due to injuries.
