Even though it was a light night of games in the NBA on Tuesday night, each of the games had significant meaning in the standings.

Toronto pounds the Celtics at home.

Toronto outscored 36-13 in the 2nd quarter as they beat Boston by 23 points. The Raptors went on a 18-0 run after the Celtics went up by 4 early in the second quarter.

Toronto led by as many as 31 and finished the game hitting 17 three pointers.

The Joker leads the Nuggets past the Thunder

Nikola Jokic had 36 points and led his team to a big victory at home. With the Denver victory, the Nuggets now have a 4 game lead over the Thunder in the Northwest Division.

Jokic added 10 rebounds and 9 assists as he fell short of another triple-double. Will Barton had 23 points and Jamal Murray hit 2 huge 3-pointers in the final 4 minutes for Denver.

New York’s Bench leads them to second consecutive win in the Garden

On a night where the Knicks didn’t have one starter score in double-figures, the bench took control and lead them to a victory over the Orlando Magic.

The Knicks bench scored 75 points including all 30 points in the fourth quarter as they beat the Magic 106-100. Mitchell Robinson had 17 points, 14 rebounds and blocked 6 shots in the game.
