This might be the only time in recent memory that a team returns only 5 players from a team that missed the playoffs in the previous season and can actually be a favorite to win the NBA championship in the next season. The 2019-2020 Los Angeles Lakers have roster from top to bottom that can win the championship in June.

Anytime you can bring out LeBron James and Anthony Davis as your dynamic duo puts your team at the top of any list. Now with a supporting cast of Kyle Kuzma, DeMarcus Cousins, Avery Bradley, Danny Green, Rajon Rondo and JaVale McGee makes the Lakers one of the deepest teams in the entire league.

Los Angeles could potentially add Kyle Korver to their already deep team to add more long-range firepower. If this starts to go south quickly, lead assistant Jason Kidd should get the clipboard ready. With all of this talent, the Lakers should be the best team going into training camp. But with the coaching issues, that leaves this team as Number 1……
