Big 3- Week 4 in Providence, RI

The Big 3’s Saturday’s slate of games featured two teams trying to become 3-1 and a matchup of two teams looking to get their first victory of the season. So lets take a look at what you might have missed in the Big 3 on Saturday

Power 50 (3-1) vs Ghost Ballers 36 (2-2)

The return of the reining MVP gives Power their 3rd victory of the season. Corey Maggette scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as he lead his team past the Ghost Ballers by 14 points. After being down by 5 at the half, Power shut down the Ghost Ballers defensively and shot 60 percent in the final half to give them the victory.

Julian Wright added 17 points and 6 rebounds as Power won the game without Cuttino Mobley who out due to injury (Calf). Jamario Moon had 13 points and 5 rebounds for Ghost Ballers.

Enemies 50 (3-1) vs Aliens 39 (1-3)

Craig Smith once again lead an balanced Enemies attack as they won their third game of the season. His 19 points and he hit 3 big three-pointers as his team continues to keep pace in the standings. Perry Jones added 13 points and 5 rebounds and Royce White filled the stat sheet with 8 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.

Greg Oden had 11 points for the Aliens, including starting the game hitting his first three shots of the game. The Gilbert Arenas lead team has won three games in a row.

3’s Company 50 (1-3) vs Ball Hogs 38 (0-4) 

3’s Company’s Andre Emmett would not his team fall to 0-4 in the standings. His 17 points off the bench lead his team to their first victory of the season. Coming off a week, where one of the team captains (Baron Davis) was deactivated, his hot shooting kept the Ball Hogs away from the victory.

Will McDonald scored 18 points and 9 rebounds for the Ball Hogs, who are still looking for their first victory of the season.
